Life Drawing - Saturday 12/9

This friendly, adults-only session is held regularly and offers the opportunity to draw from a live model in a relaxed and welcoming studio environment. All experience levels are welcome. Bring your own drawing materials and paper. Afternoon tea and treats are provided. Book your place online, then pay $25 on the day.

Description

Attending: Simply click BOOK NOW, enter your details to reserve your place, and bring $25 cash with you on the day to pay for the session.

These are untutored sessions, giving you the freedom to draw in your own style and at your own pace, while enjoying the company of other artists in a relaxed and supportive environment.

We'll explore a variety of timed poses, beginning with one- and two-minute warm-up sketches before moving on to five-, ten- and twenty-minute poses. The shorter poses encourage loose, expressive mark-making and capturing the essence of the pose, while the longer poses give you time to explore shape, form and proportion in more depth.

Bring your own supplies e.g. papers, charcoal, soft graphic pencil, eraser, oil sticks, pastels and so on.

I can supply materials e.g. A4/A3 paper, pencils, charcoal, pastels for $10 - please notify me in advance if you would like this and I will have it ready for you.

I have backing boards to borrow, and some clips.

NOTES:

Park your car in the car park on the left as you drive in.
The Studio is the first floor in the white building down from the carpark (see photo reference). There are 17 external stairs up to the studio.
The bathroom is downstairs.
