This studio afternoon is designed for those wanting dedicated time to work on their own art practice in a friendly, encouraging environment — whether you’re preparing work for the exhibition or simply making space to create. With a minimum of five participants, the session offers a lovely balance of independent making and guided support.
Bring your own project and materials — you might be finishing or refining exhibition pieces, getting work presentation-ready (such as matting or final touches), starting something new, or exploring different mediums. Julie will move around the studio, offering individual guidance, gentle mentoring, and technical advice throughout the afternoon.
You’ll enjoy the energy of a shared creative space while still receiving personal support whenever you need it. This session is suitable for all experience levels, from beginners to developing artists.
BRING: All your art materials (and anything specific needed for exhibition preparation, if relevant)
PROVIDED: Studio space, limited shared materials, coffee, tea, and biscuits ☕🍪
NOTES:
The Studio is above the Golf Club building at Quamby Estate (see photo reference).
Park your car in the car park on the left as you drive in.
There are 17 stairs to the studio.
There is one bathroom downstairs.
Your booking will be confirmed once payment is received.
To make the most of the session, we need a minimum of five participants. If numbers are lower, Julie will be in touch the day before with options — so you won’t be left hanging.
