Walk to Liffey Falls

Thank you so very much for a  lovely morning at your studio last Friday. You were so kind and considerate with your lesson. I felt so pleased that I took the plunge and tried something completely new. A big thank you to Julie McDonald Artist for guiding me through my first ever art class. It was welcoming, fun, interesting, challenging and there was cake and cups of tea and a stunning location.

Julie's paintings adorn walls throughout our home and all are very different in their subject and medium. A particular favourite of ours is a watercolour of our staffy dog as a pup. Julie has captured his personality perfectly. We would highly recommend a viewing of Julie's collection. 

Great content, very encouraging host and learn lots. Was as described, engaging, welcoming, met some lovely people and inclusive of all attendees. 

I bought a painting from Julie at one of her exhibitions and the colours are amazing. A very talented local artist.

Julie thank you for such a wonderful class yesterday. I went from stick figures to a landscape and wanting to buy charcoal. It was a fun afternoon in beautiful surroundings and practical steps that I can use to continue my journey. 

We have two of Julie's beautiful paintings and they are exquisite. They have become much loved features in our home. The precision in her brushwork makes each artwork come to life and everyone comments on how lovely they are. 

Julie's art is so expressive. I've bought a number of pieces so far. I love the different styles and in particular, how Julie beautifully, and expertly, captures the moment and character. 

Julie had the ability to give me the confidence to do something I felt I couldn't do in a comfortable atmosphere.

I purchased one of Julie's beautiful floral paintings, which now hangs on my bedroom wall. It looks so real, I could almost reach out and touch the silky flowers and perfectly formed leaves. Julie has such a talent in the way she captures the spirit of whatever she is painting xx
